Designing the CD helped me understand how to design with dimension. Designing an album cover is one thing, however, designing the CD packaging presents opportunities to be playful and consider dimensions and layers within a physical object.
The CD contains the mix from the DJ set at the School of Architecture + Design. Using the album cover, designed by Marla Chinbat, as a starting point I experimented with different photo treatments that led me to the final effect which is a sort of pseudo-RISO.
