During the Fall semester, I started working as a Communication and Exhibition Fellow at the School of Design. We had the exciting opportunity to begin a new tradition in the School Of Design, a new student show “The Winter Show”. During the first half of the semester, we experimented with a holographic material we had on hand. We photographed, bent, cut, and tried to find unique ways to use the material to create a striking visual poster. The result of this experimentation can be seen in the final two posters for the Winter Show, and across the graphic identity used at the show.

As seen on the final poster our experimentations led us to explore typographic snowflakes, which ended up being made into laser-cut acrylic decorations. These were hung around the exhibition space on the day of the event and also raffled off in goodie bags for attendees.
